Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited Flies West in 2027 on PS5, Switch 2, PS4, Switch and Steam

Neptune is back in a brand new mainline adventure. Idea Factory International has confirmed that Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited launches in the West in 2027, and the official English website is now live alongside a two-minute trailer.

Idea Factory International called it the newest mainline game in the series after ten years, which tells you how long fans have been waiting for a proper numbered-style follow-up rather than another spin-off. Compile Heart is developing, and Idea Factory International is publishing.

The platform list is wide. The game is coming to PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. There is a catch for collectors, though. According to the official product page, physical editions in North America and Europe are planned for PS4, PS5 and Switch 2 only, while the original Switch version is digital. Standard, limited and digital edition details are all still marked as TBD.

The story setup leans into big stakes. A gigantic asteroid is heading toward Gamindustri, and 11 Goddesses, including some new faces, band together against the end of the world. Neptune is guided by a mysterious voice, and the site teases a tale of countless endings and beginnings.

The headline gameplay change is flight. For the first time, the Goddesses can soar freely through the skies, with three-dimensional exploration plus aerial combat, dive attacks and vertical positioning in battle. The trailer shows them transforming and taking off mid-dungeon, which looks like a real shift for a series that has mostly kept its feet on the ground.

Voice options are English and Japanese on every platform. Text is English on consoles, and Steam adds Japanese and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. There is no exact release date yet, so 2027 is all we have for now.
