Seraph of the End Manga Ends in Jump SQ Next Month, Kono Oto Tomare! Finishes Too
Jump SQ confirms Seraph of the End runs its final chapter in the January issue on December 4, 2026, the same issue Kono Oto Tomare! ends.

Seraph of the End is about to close its book. Shueisha's next-issue preview for Jump SQ confirms that Takaya Kagami, Yamato Yamamoto and Daisuke Furuya's vampire war manga will run its final chapter in the January issue, which goes on sale on December 4, 2026, with color pages to send it off.
The setup for that finale landed today. The December issue, out November 4, carries chapter 160, and the title of the chapter is the title of the series itself. The official Seraph of the End account teased it with a split panel of Mika and Yuichiro grinning side by side and a line that roughly reads "the last two are..." It is hard to imagine a clearer signal that the story has come back to where it started, with those two boys and the promise between them. Today's issue also comes with a ten-postcard bonus set built from Yamamoto's color illustrations, at least in the print edition.
What makes the next issue a bit of a moment for the magazine is that Seraph is not leaving alone. The same preview says Amyu's koto club drama Kono Oto Tomare! also reaches its last chapter in the January issue. Losing two of its longest-running series in a single month is a big shift for Jump SQ, and it will be interesting to see what the editors line up to fill that space in 2027.
I have followed Seraph since the early Yu and Mika days, through the anime and the long stretch of story the anime never touched, so I will admit the timing stings a little. Still, ending on a chapter named after the series and a final issue with color pages feels like the send-off it deserves. If you have been waiting for the finish line to binge the whole thing, it is almost here.
