Hotel Inhumans has found a very good guest for its next request. The official site announced on October 29 that Mitsuki Saiga joins Season 2 as Sekiya, a tall woman who keeps turning up on the same train as a fourth grader named Eriko. The detail that sold me: Sekiya is always reading odd books, the kind with words like murder and poison on the cover.

What the episode is about

Saiga appears in request 18, After Follow. The official synopsis follows Eriko, a fourth grader who spends every day at cram school studying for middle school entrance exams. She trips on a step, Sekiya catches her, and Eriko is so flustered she never says thank you. That small failure keeps bothering her. Then, walking home from cram school in the dark while texting her mom, she stumbles again, and a suspicious shadow closes in.

I like this setup a lot. Hotel Inhumans is at its best when it steps away from the concierges and lets a regular person wander into the assassin world. A child's guilt over a missed thank you is a sharp way in. A stranger reading poison manuals on her commute could be a guardian, a threat, or both.

Why Saiga fits

Saiga has a cool, low, controlled voice that can sound warm and dangerous at the same time. Many English-speaking fans know her as Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club, but her quieter roles are the better reference here. A guest who barely speaks and still unsettles you is exactly her lane.

Where things stand

Season 2 started October 4 on TV Tokyo, airing Sundays at 23:45 JST, and Crunchyroll simulcasts it outside Japan. The official site has also posted a preview video and early stills for After Follow. Tetsuro Amino directs at studios Bridge and Aisle. Ao Tajima's original manga ended in August 2025 after 12 volumes, and Seven Seas publishes it in English.

The announcement is on the official Hotel Inhumans site. You can find the season on anime.day.
