Bleach Mirrors High is out now: build your own Soul Reaper in a story set after Thousand-Year Blood War

Bandai Namco's Bleach Mirrors High launched October 28 on iOS and Android, with new characters designed by Tite Kubo and an Aizen banner to open.

The anime may have wrapped up with Thousand-Year Blood War, but Bleach isn't done with me yet. Bandai Namco Entertainment's new mobile game Bleach Mirrors High went live on October 28, 2026 on the App Store and Google Play. It's free to download, with in-game purchases and loot boxes.

The hook: you are the new recruit

What sets this one apart from earlier Bleach games is that the main character is you. You customize your own Soul Reaper's look, pick how your Zanpakutō looks and fights, and then step into an original story set after the Thousand-Year Blood War. The new squad members around you were designed by Tite Kubo himself, which is the detail that sold me.

The official site has now revealed the voices for all 15 new characters. The protagonist, Shirin Migishima, is voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi, with Maria Sashide as Shirane Sanari and Yuga Sato as Hachirota Rohbe among the newcomers.

Battles are three-on-three. You build a team of three, choose Action Cards each turn, and chain team attacks called Soul Drive for big finishers.

What you get at launch

Bandai Namco's Japanese launch announcement lists these goodies:

  • Pre-registrations passed one million, so every player gets 3-star Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki plus 9,000 gacha stones, roughly 50 pulls' worth
  • A seven-day beginner login bonus worth up to 3,000 more stones, and another 3,000 for clearing the beginner missions
  • The first limited banner features Sōsuke Aizen, running until November 24 (Japan time)

Thirteen permanent characters are in from day one, including Uryū Ishida, Orihime Inoue, Yoruichi, Byakuya, Renji, Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Mayuri, Grimmjow and Bambietta.

My take

Leading with Aizen is a confident move, and the starter gifts are generous. Since those bonuses come from the Japanese announcement, I'd check the in-game mail to confirm what your region gets. Still, a Kubo-designed cast and a story that picks up after the final arc is exactly the kind of epilogue I've wanted.

More on the official site, and you can track the series on its anime.day page.
