Blobtopia Has Three Chapters Left: Jun Kirarazaka Starts the Countdown to the Jump+ Finale
Chapter 26 of Blobtopia is out on Shonen Jump+, and the creator confirms only three chapters remain, with a side story landing first next week.

Jun Kirarazaka's Shonen Jump+ comedy Blobtopia (Buyotopia) is heading into its final stretch. The creator's official X account confirmed that the series has three chapters left before the finale, right as chapter 26 went live on Jump+.
Where the story stands
Chapter 26 carries the title "The Hero Was a Hero", which is my own rough rendering of the Japanese. In it, Minty argues that the squishy blob world is actually a comfortable place to live, and Beyond, the former hero at the center of the series, struggles to hide how thrown he is by that. The teaser leaves his answer as the cliffhanger, which feels like exactly the question the whole manga has been circling: what does a hero do when the world he failed to save turns out to be fine with how things ended up?
There is a short pause before the countdown resumes. Next week's update is a side-story chapter, not a main chapter, so the last three regular chapters will start after that.
Why I'm keeping an eye on this one
Kirarazaka's earlier works, Bone Collection and Do Retry, ran in Weekly Shonen Jump, and Blobtopia moved his offbeat humor over to Jump+. It is also a rare gag series built around a hero who already lost, which makes it stand out from the usual "chosen one" setups. The first compiled volume came out on July 3, so anyone who wants to catch up before the ending has an easy starting point.
If you have been putting it off, now is a good time to start. Three chapters, one side story and it's done, and I'd rather read the ending as it drops than get it spoiled later.
